Abscond is about the loneliness and dread I would feel after waking up over and over again wanting to change, wanting to be a better person but my actions consistently said otherwise.
I felt a constant overarching sense of apathy for the years I was using. I felt at many times like I had no purpose, and would hurt everyone that was close to me.
In a sense ‘Abscond’ is about my journey from where I was to where I am now.
